During the late 2005, two enterprising engineers have discussed the enormous current and emerging projects in this part of the world –the Middle East - and the need to support these projects with an entity that understand the local requirements and familiar with its surroundings. That discussion was put into reality upon the formation of an engineering design company which is known as SAHAM AL-SHAMEL Engineering Consultants (SASEC).

SASEC was officially formed on the first quarter of 2006, with the aim of providing high engineering design standards to various clients, through utilization of the expertise and vast experience of engineers and designers who have worked directly with engineering firms throughout the Kingdom, Middle East, Asia, Europe and North America.
